Staging a home can be quite a challenge for a seller.

Kids run up and down the stairs, play with their toys, eat snacks in the kitchen, and generally want everything in their rooms to be just right. It’s easy to let these things go when it comes to staging a house near Phoenix.

You have to start earlier to weed out unneeded items and make space for needed furniture and equipment. If you wait too long to stage your home near Phoenix, it’s not surprising that you’ll miss out on multiple offers.

The first step in staging a house near Phoenix AZ is to have an initial consultation with a furniture rental service. At this consultation, they will perform a walk-through with your home, giving you an opportunity to choose what kind of staging you’d prefer to perform. You’ll also be able to discuss the price of staging.

The initial consultation will likely include an inventory of the items that need staging, a quote for staging the rooms, and possibly the cost of the furniture rental. It’s a good idea to have a price range in mind before you even speak to a furniture rental service.

Staging a house for sale can include many different methods. Some people purposely stage homes themselves to get a higher sale price. They’ll purchase old household furniture, decorations, linens, cabinets, etc. and stage the home themselves. They may even hire a professional decorator or staging company to assist in the staging process.

Another method for staging a home for sale is to have a professional home stager tour the home with the seller. When the stager (a person who is trained and licensed in home staging) arrives at the property, he/she will point out the rooms that need staging the most and work on these rooms all day long.

Staging companies will often pay professionals to come and do the staging for them. The stagers job includes moving furniture and hiding carpet, curtains, etc. Some stagers will also use props to help speed up the selling process.

A third way to stage a house for sale is to have the stager pack away the unneeded furnishings so the buyers can move into the rooms that do not need any extra furnishings.

This is another good reason to have the stager packing the furnishings personally.

The buyers are much more comfortable when they see the packing done personally.

They don’t have to deal with stacks of boxes and loose furnishings.

Staging houses for sale is no longer just the job of a private stager. The Internet has made it easy for home owners who do not want to bother with staging to stage their homes themselves. There are many websites that specialize in providing services for staging homes.

These sites also have listings of local stagers. Many online sites offer a free listing of local professional stagers and sometimes give you options to interview or even choose someone to go to your home to see the furniture in action.
